EPIC INFORMATION SOLUTIONS WINS SILVER MEDAL FOR BEST CHANNEL MARKETING INITIATIVE IN CANADA
Winnipeg ~ EPIC Information Solutions (EPIC) has been awarded the silver medal for the Best Channel Marketing Initiative at the 2008 CDN Channel Elite Awards, which took place on October 28th, 2008. The event was held at the Paramount Conference and Event Venue in Woodbridge Ontario.
The Channel Elite Awards showcase the top solutions, innovative marketing initiatives and recognizes the outstanding achievements of Canadian IT solution providers. The Best Channel Marketing Initiative honors the partner that has created and executed a dynamic advertising, marketing campaign or event showcase in 2007. EPIC Information Solutions was nominated based on its twice-annual EPIC Technology Day Conference, which competed in the Best Channel Marketing Solution category against entries from across Canada.

EPIC Technology Day is a full day conference, held in the spring and again in autumn. The event brings together the greatest representation of information technology professionals in Winnipeg, with some of the biggest names in information technology, such as Hewlett-Packard, Novell, VMware and more. The event is free for all who attend, providing an opportunity for both current and potential customers to hear from and talk to, some of the industries leading technology experts. There are 36 one-hour sessions running over the course of the day, as well as two keynote sessions provided by industry leaders. Topics range in scope, including highly technical product discussion, demonstrations, and also to more business focused sessions that emphasize the role of IT in business and how it contributes to the business.
