EPIC Information solutions joins THE CANADIAN ASSOCIATION OF VOICE OVER IP PROVIDERS

Winnipeg ~ As a provider of Voice Over IP solutions to a number of companies in the Winnipeg area, EPIC Information Solutions has joined the Canadian Association of Voice Over IP Providers, in hopes of being able to participate in the development of this growing industry.

The Canadian Association of Voice Over IP Providers (CAVP) is a not-for-profit association formed in October of 2005 (officially incorporated in April 2006) as an industry trade organization representing Canadian based Voice Over IP (VoIP) providers and other businesses involved in the sale of Internet based voice services and related equipment.

The CAVP is concerned with regulatory issues at the Canadian Radio and Telecommunications Committee (CRTC) and with interoperability between VoIP networks and the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN).
